I thought I had nothing to blog about.

First off, I found the above pic on the web this morning. The small text says "When I get sad, I stop being sad, and be awesome instead. True story." I love Barney Stinson quotes. I have also included a link to a web site where you can get Barney Stinson Gear. You're welcome.

Second, Carey left me a note today, and to surprise me, she put it inside my laptop. She did not know that I don't open my laptop up to use it. It sits in my docking station with the screen closed. I didn't notice anything when she called this morning, or when she called early this afternoon, but when she called at 4:15 I could tell something was up. Carey asked me "Did you use your laptop today?" and I responded, "Yes, I use it all day every day, why?" That's when it dawned on me to open the screen, and her note was there. I can only imagine what was going through her head all day. "Why has he not thanked me for the note?" "Did he not like the note?" "What the hell is wrong with him?", just to find out that I didn't know I had a note to read. It was too funny. We both got a good laugh out of it. I needed that today.
