Vacation, Day Two
The headline act of day two was our visit to Bally's to be a part of "The Price is Right". We found tickets at one of the "half price show tix" outlets on the strip. The show was a lot of fun. No, we didn't get to "come on down" but we still had fun. The big winner was a stay at home father of five kids from Houston. His prizes were: a suitcase, a slot machine, a two day trip to Disney World in Orlando, a 61 inch plasma television, and a 2009 Nissan Versa. To win the car, he had to bid within $100 of the actual price of the whole showcase. His bid was only off by $75. It was neat to see him win. We had lunch at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.
The Penn and Teller show was a lot of fun. Our seats ended up being in the front row. The whole experience was great.
Carey has discovered what it feels like to not have a horseshoe up your ass while in Vegas. She's gotten killed at every slot machine and table she's played. Now she knows how I usually feel. She's been a good sport though.
Today I'm playing in a poker tournament, and we are going North to check out some of the older casino's and Feemont Street. Should be a fun day.
