Static electricity is an interesting thing. I tend to experience more than my fair share of it during the winter. The wife and I share lots of static shocks at home this time of year. I'm mentioning this today because as I was taking off my jacket at work this morning I experienced something that was new to me. I got a strong static electric shock on my crotch. It was very painful. I've not experienced a shock like that on that particular body part before, and I hope I don't again. It actually took a second for my brain to register what had happened as I sat down. It wasn't as bad as a swift kick or anything, still not fun. Have a good day!

I have a good "shocking" story for you! I wear a walkie-talkie at school everyday, right? Well, it comes with an ear piece. You following? The ear piece? Made out of metal. When kids touch me after taking off their fleece coats, it's the shock of a freaking lifetime in your ear. It feels like my brain might be getting shocked, too. It hurts.
